Hello,

From my collection, today for sale is a really really FANTASTIC instrument, one of the best I have ever had.... Spiri daCarbo trumpet. Unique design, handmade swiss quality. Werner Spiri is really a genius...

The daCarbo Vario Bb trumpet is based on the "Vario" instrument of music Spiri.

The lead pipe, the tuning slide and the bell are changeable in different versions with respect to ground, and surface scale freely selectable and thanks Vario system itself. All components are compatible with the Spiri Vario Bb trumpet. Top-valve engine with bore ML.

Big sound, effortless and precise approach
in intensive cooperation of instrument makers, engineers, acousticians and musicians, was a remarkably easy-playing trumpet that supports yet generating a warm, rich sound. Here, the sound does not close in the upper registers. The carbon-composite materials allow the suppression energy sapping wall vibrations.

Craft meets Hightech
The produced in specially developed high-tech process carbon components complement each other with the loving, traditional detail to constant, uncompromising quality.

Best speech, magnificent sound
The daCarbo Vario facilitates the creation of a warm, full sound over the entire register. It shows best approach and can be extremely easy to play with little energy. Here, the sound does not close in the upper registers. You stay loose in height and keep in concert by longer.

Het zal wel aan mij liggen: maar die beker ziet er gewoon uit als een trompetbeker.... :P

Vorm én Materiaal (alinea 7!) doet er toe.

Dit alles neemt niet weg dat met Carbonfiber niet een goede beker gemaakt zou kunnen worden..... :mrgreen:

Ik vind de DaCarbo er geweldig uitzien, en ben heel benieuwd hoe die zou spelen.

Vorm, materiaal, maar ook speler zijn van belang. Ik klink op mijn olds ongeveer zo als op de stomvi.
En dan heb je het over 2 totaal verschillend gebouwde instrumenten.
Als ik op een Benson van 125 euro speel, dan klink ik ongeveer als op mijn stomvi, 'aar dan veel kaler en scheller.
Dus materiaal speelt ook mee.
Kortom: het is allemaal behoorlijk genuanceerd.

Die beker is van binnen zwart Marnix. Toch niet helemaal gewoon voor mij. :lol:
