SiteAdvisor is een plug-in voor Internet Explorer en Firefox, waarmee je gelijk kunt zien of een website "besmet" is.
Als je een zoekterm intypt bij 1 van de zoekmachines zie je achter iedere site-naam in de lijst een groen geel of rood symbool. Rood betekent grote kans op spyware, spam of virussen, of dat het om een phishing-site gaat.
geel betekent oppassen en groen is veilig.
De plug-in is 500 kB groot en kun je gratis downloaden van
www.siteadvisor.com eigenaar is McAfee
handig!

Als je met de cursor precies op het vraagteken gaat staan zie je waarom er geen kleur van toepassing is.
tik op google maar eens " music download " en rechts zie je een rood teken verschijnen bij een nep-site. ga er ook maar eens met de cursor op staan
