16 april 2005 bestaat The River Aa Big Band 5 jaar. Dit eerste lustrum wordt gevierd met een Swing Night. Hierbij komen verschillende Jazz en Dixieland formatie hun acte de presence geven:
Food Town Jazzband, Birdie 7, Lamarotte en natuurlijk The river Aa Big Band zelf.

Lamarotte uit Tilburg sluit de avond af. Zijn zijn in Duitsland en Engeland graag geziene gasten op de diverse Jazz festivals.

Kaarten in de voorverkoop € 10,= zijn te bestellen bij mij!!

Door omstandigheden is de Foodtown Jazzband afgehaakt. Birdie 7 komt met de jazz zangeres Machteld Cambridge. Dit zal zeker een extra dimensie geven!!

Robert66, leuk dat je geweest bent. Het was een geslaagde avond.

Voor de trompettisten: als derde nummer hebben we "Trumpet Blues & Cantabile" van Harry James gespeeld. Pittig, maar wel leuk.

De afsluiting va Lamarotte was te gek. Leuk en gezellig stel die de "oude: Dixieland stijl op een leuke maniet brengen. (www.lamarotte.nl)
