Story I heard passed down from Kanstul...
The Giorgianni 2000 was originally a birthday gift for Joe Giorgianni. Kanstul made it as a gag gift for him. It was a mouthpiece so shallow that they figured no one would be able to play on it. Kind of funny actually. Well as things went, he played on it, loved it, and peeled paint with it. Thus the marketing of it began.
I don't understand the advertisement: "The 'Giorgianni 2000' is a new trumpet mouthpiece based on the
rediscovered European design from the 1920's." Maybe I'm not fully informed 100% on the origins but this is what I was told.
I think 99.9% of the human population cannot use this thing. So I think it goes in the worst mouthpiece design categories.
I bet Cat Anderson could use it. He had a very shallow cup.
