Ik ben van plan een nieuwe straight te kopen. Ik heb momenteel nog een merkloze straight die ik bij een of ander instrument gevonden heb :P Wordt dus hoog tijd voor verandering.

Iemand een tip wat betreft een goed merk? Jo-Ral? Denis Wick? In ieder geval een met zo min mogelijk afwijking qua stemming natuurlijk.

Ik heb 2 Wick straight mutes en die zijn prima speelbaar.

Smaken verschillen: Ik vind de Denis Wick straight mute abominabel slecht, in allle opzichten: klank, intonatie, speelgemak. Ik zou nog eerder een fiber Humes and Berg aanraden. Zelf speel ik een Jo-Ral met messing bodem.

Bevalt uitstekend, met (bij mij althans) vrijwel geen stemmingsproblemen.

Hij doet het overgings best wel goed.
