Ik zou verder Thorsten Benkenstein en Andy Haderer willen voordragen voor een top3-notering. Buiten Europa kan ik Roger Ingram als voor mij persoonlijk zeer opvallend muzikale (en spectaculaire) leadtrompettist voordragen.

de bekende namen zijn allemaal goed.
ik vind dat dit forum beter zou weergeven welke eigenschap je bewondert in één of andere leadspeler.

mijn algemene voorkeur gaat uit naar andy haderer (wdr bigband). ik vind hem over de ganse lijn heel goed (timing, stijl, zuiver spelen ed...)

jan oosthof algemeen ook bijzonder goed, en voor popmuziek op hoog niveau gaat mijn voorkeur dan weer naar nico schepers.

"de beste" bestaat niet voor mij, ze hebben allen wel hun sterke kant.
