Een tijdje terug was er op zondag ochtend een concert op TV van de marinierskapel in samenwerking met allerlei artiesten met het thema "Indie leeft" oid. Hiervan is ook een DVD uitgekomen die ik inmiddels besteld heb. Maar wat ik mij eigenlijk afvroeg is of er ook harmonie muziek is met als thema Indonesie (of nummers uit Indonesie).

Ik heb ooit met mijn harmonie een stuk "krotjong-muziek" gespeeld. Zo heet die muziek nu eenmaal uit Indonesie (Google maar eens). Volgens mij was het arrangement afkomstig van de Marinierskapel want de dirigent speelde daar.

Er bestaat inderdaad een stuk: Krontjong Rhapsodie. Dit heb ik met mijn harmonie gespeeld. Onze dirigent is ook een voormalig lid van de marinierskapel.
